Trippen Chaussures Todi – Collection Automne Hiver 2024

  • Couleur: Espresso (marron fonce)
  • Cuir: WAW (Cuir de vachette à tannage végétal sans couche de couleur opaque, teinté dans la masse et ciré. Léger effet pull-up.

Since the beginning of Trippen in the early 1990s, the company has remained true to its aspiration to go beyond the rules of common fashion while establishing its own unique way of designing and producing shoes. When Angela Spieth and Michael Oehler discovered a special style of wooden sole from the 1970s in a traditional last factory, this discovery inspired the brand that embodies the spirit of its independent and unconventional hometown.

Nearly three decades later, the brand continues to produce its unique shoes in its own factory, 60 km north of Berlin, according to the strictest environmental and social standards.

Conception

With their unique soles, unconventional pattern techniques, and iconic silhouettes, the shoes are designed to be timeless and always avant-garde. From start to experimental, each model is made to last, transcending seasons and trends to grow with the wearer on their journey. Over 2000 models are permanently available in over 30 different materials and colors, and can be customized to suit individual preferences.

Social responsibility

High-quality design starts with high standards of social responsibility. In order to ensure good working conditions for its employees, the brand founded its own factory in a former GDR shoe production site in Zehdenick, Brandenburg, in 1998. Today, it structures its design process around the needs and ideas of its roughly 100 production members, each of whom is valued as an individual and enjoys fair wages and flexible working conditions.

Environmental sustainability

Environmental considerations and the eco-friendly production process are also integrated into this brand's design process. The use of vegetable-tanned leather and woods such as alder, poplar and beech are obtained exclusively from European suppliers, ensuring the longevity of each pair of shoes. The proximity of the factory to the head office, workshop and warehouse in Berlin-Treptow ensures short delivery routes, which helps to keep carbon emissions low.

Shops and collaborations

In addition to the brand's flagship stores in Germany and Paris and its partner stores in Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Japan, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Mongolia and the United States, over 450 other stores around the world sell Trippen shoes.

The company's commitment to design innovation and exchange is reflected in its collaborations with designers such as Iris van Herpen, Issey Miyake, Nicholas K, Situationist or Alberto Zambelli as well as with Germany-based creators like UY, Aleks Kurkowski, Michael Sontag or Isabel Vollrath. In 2018, the brand opened the P100, a concept store on Potsdamer Straße in Berlin, which has allowed it and its community to continue innovating across all creative disciplines.
